Our Story
Positive Attitudes Thinking Higher (P.A.T.H.) was legally established in February 2020, but the thought process began prior to being capable of defining or understanding its underlying purpose. Your heart is at its purest when you’re a child, and it was then when P.A.T.H. began. I was the child that did not bypass the homeless but extended my allowance selflessly not realizing the sacrifices that were being made in my own home. I was the child that befriended the overlooked and became the ear and shoulder entrusted with endless conversations of poverty and abuse. It was encounters such as these that introduced my passion, established an altruistic individual, and created the behaviorism of wanting to save the world.
Being presented with the opportunity to serve as the president of Switch Lanes Raleigh, NC for the duration of two years provided a platform to do what mattered to me the most, which was helping others. This was the conception of P.A.T.H. Embraced with a student/teacher environment, this platform allowed me to flourish within my purpose through focusing on our four pillars which included Education, Economic Development, Entrepreneurship, and Legal Justice. Each pillar was equally important, but economic development became and remained my focal point as Switch Lanes dissolved and the decision to continue on my own became a reality.
On my journey, my passion and commitment has led me to broaden our audience to include veterans. This expansion was born out of personal experience, as I witnessed a loved one suffer silently, haunted by the repercussions of their military service.
My eyes were opened when I saw my son, a veteran, wrestling with his own demons, grappling with the invisible wounds of war. Witnessing his silent struggle ignited a fire within me—a determination to be a voice for those who felt unheard, overlooked, or forgotten. At P.A.T.H., we realized that our mission to address trauma needed to encompass the unique challenges faced by veterans. As a result, my voice became magnified. Coping with trauma and gaining the momentum and tools to push through, has also become apart of P.A.T.H.'s mission.
Feeling helpless is a reality of life but choosing to do nothing was not an option. This was P.A.T.H.’s manifestation. The helpless feeling of not being able to do anything for someone I cared about made me realize that the gateway has not always been undemanding, but P.A.T. H. was made available it would have made life easier. I want to help individuals out of helpless situations. Through the peaks and valleys of life, this is one part of me that remained consistent. Through hard work and dedication, along with an upstanding team, we will strive to uphold our mission for we are positive attitudes thinking higher.

Over time, we have learned that coping with trauma requires more than just individual strength. It necessitates a community of understanding, empathy, and shared experiences. It is in this spirit that we have expanded our platform to provide a safe space for veterans, their families, and those who care deeply about their well-being.
Our goal is to gain a professional rapport, gain relationships with sister companies, and to become a resource center.
